The Voice Manuscript

Pandora gets curious

Creegan sets Pandora to work decoding the Hall disc, leaving a betrayer to keep an eye on her. He leaves to take car of some business, rallying the mutants and going to a Bailey command nexus to pick up a mysterious box.

Meanwhile, Pandora has decoded the disc, got bored, taken the betrayer out, and started snooping around in Creegan's bedroom. She finds old photos and logs that seem to indicate that Creegan is actually "George Bailey" and creator of the Baileys.

Creegan is furious when he discovers Pandora's been snooping around in his private quarters, but they eventually manage to work things out between them without killing each other.

Creegan orders Pandora to take the hall disc and plant it at a certain club called Magenta.
Unable to sleep, he dons a holo-disguise and follows her.

Going after the Manuscript disc - again

Voice tells Hel that a localisation signal bearing Hall's signature has been activaded, and she wants Hel and her team to go after whatever Hall has tagged, afraid it might contain valuable information. Voice also wants Hel's team to try and get the Voice disc back once again.
Mauser has been studying Ivy's equipment, and has come up with a new solution: powercells that can be attached to a belt, which means longer lasting and stronger shields.

Before they leave, Hel decides to have Mauser scan Ivy, just to be on the safe side. Mauser does the scan, and they find out that Ivy's only 7 years old!
Hel immediately activates a containment field around Ivy, believing now that she is a betrayer after all.
Ivy doesn't deal well, with being in an enclosed space - she panics, and her other personality takes over. It now becomes clear that Ivy has a split personality. "Warrior" explains that she's been genetically engineered not to age beyond 21 years, and that since cell regeneration is perfect, she'll never be biologically older than 7 years, after she's reached 28. "Warrior" then calmly suggests that they cut off one of her fingers, to prove she isn't a betrayer, since a betrayer's tissue turns silvery when seriously wounded. Mauser does, the tissue stays normal, but there is surprisingly little blood. "Warrior" says it's part of her accelerated healing process, another advantage of her genetic design.
Hel isn't quite happy with leaving Ivy in the lab. While she's probably not a betrayer, they have no idea exactly what she is. But Voice wants them to go disc hunting again.

Hel, Sarge and Cleo head again to the abandoned level, where the voice disc signal is still coming from.
Ivy, Anyah and Ariana stays in the lab.
Ivy has a disturbing vision, which she later shrugs off as a dream.

Club Magenta - enter Raina

Back on the abandoned level Hel discovers that the Voice disc signal has two sources! One comes from the surface (the disc the Bailey took from Creegan), the other from a club in the Underground (the copy of the disc Creegan put in his jacket, and forgot he had on him).
Voice orders Hel's team to go to the signal source in the club.
Creegan, who is now in the club, realises he's carrying the disc copy, and sticks it underneath a table, using highly explosive "gum".
Cleo manages elegantly to get her team into the club via the artists back entrance (thus avoiding the long queue).
Sarge goes after Hall's disc signal, which turns out to be coming from the DJ booth.
Hel finds the Voice disc stuck under the table, but dare not remove it, in case it is booby trapped. Not realising just how volatile the explosive gum is, she starts cutting into the foot of the table, planning to take the whole table and throw it into a shaft.
Creegan, in disguise, can't resist the temptation to get close to Hel and starts annoying her by playing a nosy teen.
Sarge discovers a bomb that looks about to go off in the dj booth, she quickly gets out of the booth, and warns Hel and Cleo.
Hel orders Sarge to put a containment field around the booth, while she does the same with the table - one explosion might trigger the other bomb off.
Pandora spots Hel and her team entering the club, and decides to create a little distraction by frying the electrical system.
The club goes black, people start go get anxious. Turning on the flashlight on her gauntlet Hel uses that opportunity to jump up on the bar and reassure people, and tell them that they have to leave, due to a malfunction with the club's air supply system.
Pandora slips out.
People begin to leave, then the bomb in the dj booth goes off, and triggers Creegan's bomb. Panic and chaos ensues.
Hel's team tries to help people.
Creegan tries to get out, but have problems due to the crowd at the door. He gets unexpected help from someone who has been there the whole time, watching both him and Hel's team - Raina!

Where's Pandora?

After getting out, Creegan contacts Pandora and orders her to go to Hel's lab and get Anyah, the Dwork girl with psi powers, while Hel and her team are busy at the club.
Hel's team get back to the lab quicker than anticipated, and Pandora gets there after them.

Enter Dusty

Dusty's Voice team members has been killed by Creegan's soldiers. Dusty managed to get hold of his leaders Voice receptor, and implant it. He contacts Voice, who directs him to a location near Hel's team's lab, and tells him to join her group and travel to a new, much safer location.

So much for the kidnap plan

Dusty's appearance complicates Pandora's plans.
Then a blast siren and an automated message sound in the shaft, warning anyone near to move at least 3 levels away. Not knowing that this is supposed to give Hel's team room to move safely when they leave the lab, Pandora aborts her plan, and heads back to Creegan's lair.

Raina

Meanwhile, Creegan is back in his lair, and is very surprised to see Raina suddenly show up, holding the old transplane generator. She tells him she was responsible for the second bomb in Magenta, and also for helping him get out of the club.
Voice, paranoid about Raina's mind reading abilities, puts on a device that will block any psionic intrusions into her mind, not knowing that Raina has developed some interesting new powers, which renders the device useless.

Pandora plays with fire - and gets burned

Back in Creegan's lair, Pandora begins to play a dangerous game with Creegan, stringling him along, before finally putting him down. Creegan gets furious, snaps and stabs his knife into her gut. Immediately regretting what he's done - she's still of use to him - he quickly gets her into a healing tube.
While Pandora is drugged and kept unconscious, Creegan decides to use her as a guinea pig for his experiment: to give someone (i.e. himself) the power to slip in and out of the psionic plane at will.

Bye, bye lab!

Finally having made it back to the lab, Voice tells Hel that several teams' labs have been attacked by Creegan's soldiers, and that they must relocate to a safer place. The teams' locations has been compromised due to the Manuscript disc.
What Voice doesn't tell Hel, is that only a few of the locations has been revealed, since the disc is actually bait to lure Creegan into a trap.
They believe that both discs where destroyed in the explosion, but the discs has ended up in Raina's hands.
Voice also tells Hel about Dusty.
They leave the lab, and activate the lab's autodestruct.

Running into an old acquaintance - gaining another temp member

Hel and her group are attacked by Ember and her friends. Ember uses Oliver as a human shield, then uses him as a distraction to get away.
Ivy patches Oliver up.

Oliver and Ember

Nanovirus defeated

The scientists can't figure out how to deactivate the nanovirus. While looking at the enlarged holo of the virus, Oliver suddenly realises that the marks on the nanos are Mayan writing, and he decodes it, giving the scientists a clue how to deactivate it. Ember can now leave the healing tube, and begin to restore her looks.

A clue, then going home

Meanwhile, Claw and Fang have interrogated the assassin, and found out that he got hold of the nanovirus from someone called Dax, who is Ember's renegade daughter.
Fed up with the lack of creature comforts in the secret lab, Ember decides to go home and bring Oliver with her.

Running into an old acquaintance

On their way, they run into Hel and her group. Ember decides to attack, since she believes Hel's only accompanied by two other Voice agent. She discovers to her surprise that they are twice as many. As part of getting away, she sacrifices Oliver - she wounds him and throws him to Hel and her gang. Then she and her friends run away.
