Haikus
  Another season
With icicle rain and an
Impaled butterfly

 

 

Bright and shining is
The pearl hidden within me
I am that bright pearl

 

 

Amber remembers
Memories caught inside me
Curse and blessing both

 

 

My sweet beloved
Hold me tightly in your arms
My heart burns for you

 

You betrayed my trust
You never truly loved me
You just wanted sex

 

 

Once upon a time
You were the love of my life
Now I just hate you

 

 

My life was stolen
By darkness and deep sadness
I mourn those lost years

 

 

I want to be free
I don't want to stay broken
Break these chains of pain

 

 

My dearest dragon
I've kept you trapped within me
Now I set you free

 
When the moon weeps blood
And the dark night never ends
The Phoenix will rise
